ADMISSION CRITERIA
B.Tech:

For Engineering/Technology Courses
Candidate must pass higher secondary Examination(10+2) level or its equivalent examination from recognize council or board with:

1. Individual pass marks in Physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Bio-logy/a Technical Vocational Subject (Engineering Drawing/Computer Science)

2. Minimum of 45% marks in the above subjects taken together (40% for SC/ST/PWD/OBC candidates) as well as pass in English with a minimum of 30 % marks (for all categories of candidates) in the said qualifying examination. + valid score/Rank in WBJEE / JEE(Main) of current year Lateral Entry - Diploma & B.Sc. Degree holders having at least 50% marks (45% in case of Reserve Category) with valid JELET Score and (Pass marks in XII standard with Mathematics in case of B.Sc. Degree holders)
Admission Procedure

Through WBJEE / JEE(Main) Counseling conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board
M.Tech:

ECE
B.E./B.Tech. in ECE or M.Sc. In Electronics /Physics (with Electronics special) or equivalent* to B.E./B.Tech.
Or
B.E./B.Tech. In CSE or M.Sc. In Computer Science or equivalent*.
EE
B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engg or equivalent.*
B.E./B.Tech. in EE/ECE/AEIE/ EEE/ICE or equivalent *

ELIGIBILITY AND OTHER CRITERIA (For Lateral Entry)

The applicant (both male and female) must be a citizen of India.
Engineering & Technology:

Diploma holders have to pass Diploma examination from an AICTE approved institution with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and B.Sc. Degree holders have to pass B.Sc. Degree from a recognised University as defined by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and pass XII standard with Mathematics as a subject.
The students belonging to B.Sc. stream shall have to clear the subjects of Engineering. Graphics/Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the 1st year Engineering Programme along with the second year subjects.
